Dropping The Microsoft Banner

970909_473436952732508_491051658_nIf you’ve come across me on the interwebs in the last 3 years or so, it’s obvious that I’m a little Microsoft biased. That’s putting it lightly: I’m a 360 fangirl. Something about a green “X” gets me all stirred in the loins.

Despite all that though, this next generation for Xbox isn’t stirring me as much as I thought it would. This is mostly because my beloved Microsoft has been making some shady decisions as of late. Despite their huge pushes in 2001 to be a contender in the gaming industry, their priorities have seemed to shift in the end of the 360’s long run.

It’s no doubt that the Xbox has done well in the states but, as far as actual gaming goes, Microsoft doesn’t seem as interested these days. You would have to be a stranger to the gaming industry to not be aware of Microsoft’s unusual business practices as well as their lack of touch with gaming consumers. It’s been going on for quite some time but, a lot of us, me being one, have been casting a blind eye to the sketchiness.

Microsoft once had an array of indie titles and dedicated game franchise. Slowly, they all dwindled and they focused more toward the entertainment side of things. Now, this is fine. Having a seamless entertainment system that doubles as a gaming console is wonderful. Sony goes for the same thing. If you’re primary function is gaming however, why do you feel the need to emphasize everything else but?

Xbox Infinity Trainwreck

I’m not so excited about the next generation of game consoles anymore. The more I thought about it, I just want better games. When it comes down to it, I’m more likely to go with Sony this time around but we can still see what Microsoft has up their sleeve aside from ways to get my money.

What do you guys think though? Microsoft’s event will be on May 21. Are you interested or just waiting on E3 to get here?

Watch Dogs: Out of Control Gameplay Trailer

If you guys remember my time at E3 with Ubisoft as Uplay Ambassador, you would know that I am beyond excited for Watch Dogs. At the show, it was shrouded in secrecy but the overall concept and the way it was introduced peaked my interest more than anything there. It deterred me from Assassin’s Creed and you guys know how much Girl-Wood I have for some Assassin’s Creed.

Check out this new trailer for the game down below and let me know what you think. Either way, I’m getting it.

“This is the End” Trailer

Movies and television shows like this are a HUGE guilty pleasure of mine. Something about seeing actors (presumable) act like normal people and out of the lime light are hilarious. It’s like seeing your teacher outside of school when you are a kid. It’s hilarious, freak, and awkward for everyone..you guys know how I love the awkward.

Besides, the idea of Micheal Cera being a douche makes me laugh..that and Seth Rogen is pretty awesome.

“Kick-Ass 2″ Red Band Trailer

Kick-Ass is back as well as a bigger cast of even more caped-crusaders. Oh, and Hit-Girl is being awesome again too. It’s nice to see all the familiar faces and the high school comic-book humor that we all feel in love with. There’s no set release date just yet for the sequel but I’m sure we can all be patient and wait for it.
To pass the time, check out the trailer and let us know what you think.

New Bone-Chilling Last Of Us Screnshots

It’s Tuesday. It’s boring. Why not some Last Of Us shots to make you all the more excited for Naughty Dog’s new game. There are some still on the fence about the game but, the more you see from it, you can’t help but be a bit excited.
Check out some of the shots below. For even more of a look, check out PSMania.

Last Of Us is set to release June 14, 2013.

Batman Arkham 3 Coming Soon

Batman arkham worldBased of some recent changes to the Batman: Arkham City page, some can assume the next Arkham title will soon be revealed. Considering that E3 is close approaching and the announcement of next-gen consoles, one can only guess what is to come for the Dark Knight in the next tale of Arkham and its inhabitants.

The Arkham City page was recently switched to just Batman: Arkham. The Arkham Asylum page has been removed, possible in order to make room for a new game.
