It seems like Microsoft is still pretty adamant on getting more consumers on board with the Xbox One. Along with all the rumors (which Microsoft vaguely discredited) that Microsoft would be hosting a “relaunch” event of sorts for the console at Gamescom, more have come about regarding changes to the setup of the Xbox One.
The previous online and sharing restrictions have caused some features to be revoked from launch of the system. This coupled with the lack of interest from the community has caused some interesting comments to surface.
Colin Sebastian, an analyst at financial firm Robert W. Baird & Co., claims that Microsoft is working diligently to lower the price of the Xbox One. Sebastian stated that Microsoft is “working with channel partners to lessen the gap” according to GamesIndustry International.
This along with small tidbits released on Twitter, one would assume the price will be dropping to match PS4′s more wallet friendly price tag. Despite that however, many consumers still find it hard to get on board with the console at launch. With memories of the catastrophe that was the Xbox 360′s launch filed with customer service issues and RROD, it’s difficult for many to see past that, me included.
So what do you guys think of the possibly price change? Still pinning for PS4 or will you give Xbox One a chance now?
